It is important to receive Botox Cosmetic treatments regularly, in order to maintain you results. Generally, results will last up to four months, and it is greatly advised that patient’s receive treatment before their full muscle movement returns, thus preventing further creasing. How does it work? The Liquid Facelift involves only non-invasive methods; Botox, and dermal fillers, such as Juvederm and Radiesse. Botox is used in areas such as the forehead, between the brows (commonly known as the 11’s), and crow’s feet. It relaxes the muscle, smoothing and preventing further creasing. Fillers are then used to plump up areas such as the lips, which often diminish in size as one ages, and deep folds, such as the lines from the nose down to the corners of the mouth (the nasolabial folds), and the lines from the corners of the mouth down to the chin (marionette lines). However, the diminishing of lines and folds is only one important aspect of regaining a youthful appearance.
