Dr. Savalia, a Plastic Surgeon, Judges the Miss South Asia Pageant
16th Annual Mr/Miss/Mrs South Asia 2007 Pageant - November 10, 2006
The stars descended on the Queen Mary, here on Nov.10 to the 16th Annual Mr/Miss/Mrs South Asia 2007 Pageant. Steven Seagal set the ship on course with his opening remarks stating that he felt honored to be chosen for the Lifetime Achievement Award. He commended the show’s producer and creator Jinder Chohan and Jagriti the non profit organization for its work for abused children and women in South Asia. The panel of judges Dr Reef Karim, actor and TV host, actress Namrata Singh Gujral, Dr. Nirav Savalia, plastic surgeon from Santa Monica, actors Subash Chand and Thomas Tevana, model Shalini Kapoor Grover, and musician Tina Sugandh. In a fitting climax , after four beautiful runners up were announced for Miss South Asia 2007, the gorgeous Renu Razdan emerged as the Winner and was crowned by Steven Seagal and Dr. Savalia. She was all charm and royalty as she took her Winner’s walk in her splendid gown, hugging a bouquet of lovely flowers.
