* 1 every 6 hours. Take 1 tablet 2 hours
before surgery and continue until all pills are finished.
Darvocet
**For pain, 1 or 2 every 4 hours as needed for pain.
Xanax Tranquilizer (Like Valium)
**Take one every 4 hours as
needed for tension. You can take one the night before
or the morning of surgery if you are feeling nervous.
Ambien
**For sleep, take one at night before or after surgery as
needed.
Lunesta
**For sleep, one at night before or after surgery as
needed.
Arnica
To decrease bruising and swelling, an optional & non-prescription medication to be started 4 days
prior to surgery and continued for 2 weeks after surgery
Pepcid AC
Take the night before surgery as directed to help relieve
nausea the next day after surgery.
* No fluids or food is allowed 6 hours prior to surgery. However, please take the antibiotic (Keflex) 2 hours before surgery with a sip of water.
